Office Manager - Marketing & Sales (Delray Beach)

 

compensation: 14$ per hour Commesurate with experience and skills.

 

 

This position is for Office Management for a Tree Farm and Landscaping Company in Delray Beach Florida. The job entails everything from being in charge of all calls, emails, faxes, text messages for the Tree Farm and Landscaping Company to making sure all operational licenses, insurance policies, are current to paying all bills and reporting all sales monthly (in conjunction with our off site book-keeper.) The ideal candidate must be computer savvy, be able to figure out and manage all office and telephone electronics issues, keep indoor office clean -with the limitation that this is a tree farm and dirt is almost unavoidable, (be the office "mom"), keep all office supplies stocked, file all paperwork, have a good understanding of QuickBooks and work with our book keeper on a monthly basis to report sales tax. Be able to keep all check books balanced, manage payroll, hires, fires, collections and marketing materials. The candidate must either already be familiar with Florida Trees and bushes or be a fast learner so that he/she can assist customers when they call and come with questions. The candidate will also handle any insurance claims and follow up with everything related to vehicle maintenance, suppliers, vendors etc.

The knowledge to send mass email updates to customers, create marketing materials and update company website are a plus.

The candidate will also be acting as a personal assistant to the Owner of the company with bills, birthday reminders etc. The ideal candidate would also be bilingual (English and Spanish) to be able to communicate with many of our customers and employees. 5 Years or more experience in office management is preferred as is some higher education degree, great customer service and phone etiquette, SELF MOTIVATED, LOYAL, HONEST and with a great personality are a must. Must be detail oriented and able to work full time. The candidate will be taking over a long time employee going into maternity. A brief part time schedule for the first month is available while training Monday to Friday 10-5pm and after that a full time schedule is required.
